Resizing an element with the Transform tool

1. Click Transform tool on Toolbar. Select an element on the canvas. There will be eight blue handles around it.
2. Do one of the following:
   To resize horizontally, mouse over the center point of left or right side, when the cursor turns into and drag it.
   
   To resize vertically, mouse over the center point of the top or bottom side, when the cursor turns into and drag it.
   
   To resize both horizontally and vertically, mouse over one of the four corner points, when the cursor turns into and drag it.
   
   Tip : To resize equally in width and height, Shift-drag it.
3. Release the mouse to end the transformation.

To resize by using the Properties panel

1. Click Transform tool on Toolbar. Select an element on the canvas. There will be eight blue handles around it.
2. Go to the Properties panel. If it is not visible, click View->Properties to open it.
3. Directly enter the values of Scale-W and Scale-H by a percentage.
4. Press Enter or click the canvas to finish the transformation.

Tip : To resize more than one element at the same time, press Shift to add other elements to the selection.
