Step Six: Add ActionScript & Link

This is the last step of this tutorial.

Add ActionScript to buttons:

1. Choose the button “Next” in the first scene and go to the tab Action under its Properties panel.
2. Under tab Action, choose “release” and click button Add and select “Goto scene” in the pop-up menu. In the dialog “Goto scene” opened up, pick “Scene 2” in the list.
3. Do the same to the button “Back“. When selecting “Goto scene“, pick “Scene 1” instead.
   

Add link to text:

1. Choose the text in the second scene.
2. Go to the tab Action under its Properties panel.
3. Select “press” and click button Add and select “Open URL” in the pop-up menu.
   
4. In the dialog “Open URL” opened up, input the link “http://www.sothink.com” in the box and set target as “_blank”.
5. Click OK to apply.

Add ActionScript to scene:

1. Click Scene 1 in the Scene Panel and the Properties panel turns to be the one for the selected main scene.
2. Go to tab Action. Choose “Enter Scene” and click button Add and select “Stop” from the pop-up menu.
3. Do the same to Scene 2.

 

Now you have finished the tutorial and should get the same Flash animation with the tutorial.
